A Special Day for Reading and Money-Smart Adventures
What a privilege to be able to talk about the works of EthanEvan Books with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and the First Lady when they toured the displays and met local authors after launching ReadSG at the National Library (NLB) last Sunday. ReadSG is an NLB initiative to encourage more people to cultivate the habit of reading and discover the benefits it brings.
Delighted to share the two new picture books, “The Great Money Parade” and “Where Did My Pocket Money Go?” that were launched on the same day. These books take young readers on an adventure in the world of money and help them understand money and develop smart money management habits.
Financial literacy is important not only to adults, but it is also just as important to help young children be money smart. Learning how to make wise choices with a few dollars today may help them make wiser decisions later in life! There is nothing like discovering life lessons the fun way through stories without the feeling of sitting in a classroom.
