Dollars and $ense is a set of four bilingual picture books that introduce young readers to financial literacy in a gentle, age-appropriate way through engaging, story-driven narratives. The series combines engaging storytelling, memorable characters and practical money lessons to help young readers develop smart money management habits and encourages family conversations about saving, spending and making wise financial choices.
Financial literacy is increasingly recognised as a core life skill, and early exposure helps children develop positive attitudes towards money and nurture them to be responsible, confident individuals from a young age. Learning how to make wise choices with a few dollars today may help them make wiser decisions later in life!
The Lee Kuan Yew Fund for Bilingualism supports this series, with co-funding from Maybank Singapore.
